I've got two gigabytes and that is enough to run all this and some more - I probably had some minimized windows as well.

Its true that IDEA and iTunes are memory hogs, but I haven't got that many albums on my laptop (which helps) and IDEA plays nice as long as it gets the memory it wants.

I'm running a minimal Windows XP installation with nothing but Visual Studio 2008 in a Parallels VM with 512 MB RAM set a side for that.

As for the Boston album, I've had a hangup on "classic rock" the last few days and I agree with Jeremy; Boston's "Boston" albums is a great album.
